Rasha
Background: Rasha is a single mother facing several challenging circumstances in Lahij, Yemen. She has two children to care for and at the time Waseela connected with her she was experiencing symptoms of hearing loss, which were suspected to have resulted from physical abuse by her ex-husband. Her ex-husband, unfortunately, does not contribute financially to support their two children, placing the full responsibility on Rasha’s shoulders. She was unemployed but managed to provide for her children using her deceased mother’s pension.
