Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and organized Events Lead to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of events that support Waseela Relief Association’s mission. This role is ideal for someone with event planning experience, enjoys working with volunteers, and has a creative mindset. Whether you have prior event planning experience or are eager to learn, we welcome applicants who are committed to development work and are willing to grow in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Event Planning & Management: Identify, plan, and execute a yearly calendar of fundraising and community engagement events.
- Logistics & Coordination: Manage venue selection, permits, vendors, supplies, and event-day operations.
- Volunteer Coordination: Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers for event setup, execution, and wrap-up.
- Budgeting: Work within allocated budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Creative Development: Bring fresh ideas for engaging and impactful events that align with our mission.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Fundraising lead and other team members to ensure seamless event execution.
- Time Management: Balance multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
